Jesup, Georgia Avery Morris "Unck" Westberry, 70, of Jesup, GA, died Saturday, April 16, 2011, after an extended illness. The Wayne Co., GA, native was a member of the Faith Chapel Methodist Church, was a retired Wayne County heavy equipment operator, and served with the Army National Guard Reserves. He loved hunting, fishing, & riding 4-wheelers. He was predeceased by his parents: Carlie & Dellie Westberry, brothers: Leon, Tom, and Verdon Westberry, and a sister: Aline Vaughn. Survivors are 2 sons: Tony Westberry & Andy Westberry, both of Jesup, GA, 3 daughters: Peggy (Elton) Lynn, Darlene (Bobby) Sisco, & Maxine W. Baker, all of Jesup, GA, a brother: Lonnie Westberry of Odum, GA, 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be 11 A. M. Tuesday, April 19, 2011, from the Faith Chapel Methodist Church with Rev. James Carter officiating. Interment will be in the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be: Bobby Westberry, Lonnie Westberry, James Daniel, Robbie Sapp, Scott Nix, Kevin Wood, & Bryan Belcher. Honorary pallbearers will be: The Wayne County Road Department. Visitation will be 6 to 8 P. M. Monday from the funeral home.
