Jesup, Ga. Mildred Wren Tucker, 70 of Jesup, Ga. died Friday, April 29, 2011 in Wayne Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. The Treutlen County, Ga. native was a member of Eagle Vision Forgiven Grace International Ministries and a former home health care nurse. She was the widow of Charles H. Tucker and was also predeceased by a son-in-law, Chris Dewitt. Survivors are 3 daughters: Cynthia Armagost and Joey Basile of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Pamela (Jimmy) Beckham of Screven, Ga., Lorene Violet "Sissy" Dewitt of Jesup, Ga.; a son: George (Barbara) Armagost of Jesup, Ga.; 3 sisters: Reba Kilcrease of Belleview, Fla., Sadie Roeslee of Plains, Montana, Anita Partridge of Louisville, Ga.; 2 brothers: Fred "Buddy" Wren of Glennville, Ga., Donnie Wren of Pedro, Fla.; 6 grandchildren: Sean G. Lucas, Ryan J. Armagost, Cody D. Dewitt, Curtis "C.J." Overstreet, Kaley T. Lane, Laura M. Mobley; 3 great-grandchildren: Tyler Lane, Hayden Strickland, and Madilynn Strickland; 5 step grandchildren: Freddy Miller, Terry Miller, Scotty Miller, Angie Roles, and Dondee Beckham; several nieces, nephews, and step-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 3 P.M. Sunday, May 1, 2011 from Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Pastor Ira Corbett and Pastor Cindy Spell officiating. Private burial services will be held by the family in Odessa Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 3 P.M. prior to services from the funeral home.
