Jesup, Georgia Maurice C. "Peck" Arthur, 76, of Jesup, GA, died Friday, May 4, 2012, at his residence after an extended illness. The former Fort Myers, FL, resident had lived in Wayne Co., GA, the past 15 years and was a retired Brick Mason and Contractor. He was predeceased by his wife: Katherine Chason Arthur. Survivors are 2 daughters: Yvonne (Joe) Carson of Jesup, GA, Kathy Arthur of North Fort Myers, FL, 7 sons: Mark (Anna) Leslie, Curtis Cauthen, Kenny Palmer, Ellie (Amy) Holton, Richard Holton, all of Jesup, GA, James (Treava) Poole of Ft. Myers, FL, Peck Samuel Arthur of North Fort Myers, FL, 3 sisters: Evelyn Rice of Baltimore, MD, Joyce Kilgore of Easley, SC, Barbara Shrader of Glen Burnie, MD, 2 brothers: James Arthur and Roy Arthur, both of Baltimore, MD, several grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held by the family. The Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup, GA, is in charge of the arrangements.
