Jesup, Ga. Josephine "Jo" Robertson, 64 of Jesup, Ga. died Monday, May 13, 2013 in Wayne Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. The Wayne County native had lived in Jesup for most of her life. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters. She was predeceased by her parents, Ervin Joyner and Shirley Farris; a brother, Greg Joyner. Survivors are her husband of 38 years, R. Ben Robertson of Jesup, Ga.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ben and Pam Robertson of Jesup, Ga., Joe Robertson of Moultrie, Ga.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Kristi and Steve Burns of Bluffton, S.C., Shellie Ferris and fiancé, Jon Gravely of Copperas Cove, Tx.; 16 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 4 brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael Joyner of Hollywood, Fla., Jerry and Sara Joyner, Donny and Gayle Joyner, both of Jesup, Ga., John and April Joyner of Cameron, N.C.; two sisters, Hilda Kelley and Jane Joyner, both of Hollywood, Fla.; several nieces and nephews.
