Jesup, Ga. Archie H. Powers, Jr., 75 of Jesup, Ga. died Friday, January 24, 2014 at his residence under the care of Heartland Hospice. The Wayne County, Ga. native was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and a retired Rayonier employee.He was predeceased by his son, Danny Powers and his parents, Archie H. and Doretha Williamson Powers. Survivors are a grandson, Daniel Powers of Jesup, Ga.; 4 sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia Mosley, Thelma Smith, both of Jesup, Ga., Louise and James Davis of Jacksonville, N.C., Carolyn Spears of Indianapolis, In.; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Douglas Powers, Robert L. and Susan Powers, both of Jesup, Ga.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Rev. Larry Harris officiating. Interment will be in the O'Quinn Cemetery.
