Jesup, Ga./Savannah, Ga. Hugh Richard "Dick" Arnold, 62 of White Hall, Arkansas, former resident of Savannah, Ga. died Thursday, June 26, 2014 in Wayne Memorial Hospital. The Arkansas native had visited in Wayne County, Ga. many times with family, was a 1970 Windsor Forest High School Graduate in Savannah and was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Watson Chapel, Ark. He really enjoyed his work as a purchasing specialist with the Department of Corrections in Pine Bluff, Ark. He was predeceased by his father, Hugh Daniel Arnold; a great niece, Madison Leigh Smith; a great nephew, Tanner Coleman Smith. Survivors are his mother, Ina Jean Arnold of Jesup, Ga.; a sister and brother-in-law, Brenda Arnold Smith and husband, Tony of Jesup, Ga.; a nephew, JaMark and Erica Smith of Jesup, Ga.; a niece, Dusty Smith of Cape Coral, Fla.; 3 great nieces, Presley Sommer, Avery Grace and Victoria Danielle. Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Monday, June 30, 2014 at the Buie Funeral Home Chapel in Rison, Ark. with Pastor Howard Leotscher officiating. Active pallbearers will be his family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Department of Corrections of Pine Bluff, Ark. Visitation will be 10 to 11 A.M. prior to services at the Buie Funeral Home in Ark.
