Hinesville, Ga. Thomas "Hardy" Howard, Sr., 77 of Hinesville, Ga. died Monday, July 7, 2014 in Candler Hospital after an extended illness. The Charlton Co., GA, native had lived for many years in Wayne Co., GA, and Hinesville, GA. He was a member of the South Newport Baptist Church in McIntosh Co., Ga, and was an Atlanta Braves fan. He was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Georgia "Mae" Martin Howard. Survivors are a daughter, Mary Summerall of Hinesville, Ga.; 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas Hardy, Jr. and Sandra Howard of Middleburg, Fla., Tracey and Lindsey Howard of Ludowici, Ga., Kenneth Shawn Howard of Valdosta, Ga.; a sister: Voncil and Elton Teel of Salem, IL, a brother: Albert and Nan Howard of Jesup, GA, 7 grandchildren, Tomy Howard, III, Heather Boulineau, Misty Kicklighter, Dylan Howard, Lisa Howard, Jagger Howard, Kindle Grace Howard; 3 great grandchildren, Logan, Owen and Tyler Kicklighter; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11 A. M. Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at the Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eric Grissino officiating. Interment will be in the Akin Memorial Cemetery in Mt.
