Brunswick, Ga. Celeste Gordon Little, 78, of Brunswick, Georgia passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 with family by her side after an extended illness. The Long County, Georgia native graduated from Ludowici High School Class of 1954 and attended Draughon's Business School in Savannah Georgia. Celeste lived in Lancaster, Pennsylvania most of her adult life and retired to Brunswick, Georgia after many years of work as an administrative assistant, stenographer and bookkeeper. She was a member of the James Buchanan Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter. No 315. Her passions included gardening (especially roses), canning, baking, fishing and spending time with her two grandchildren, Kelsey and Erin. She was predeceased by her husband, Merle R. Little, Ret. Staff Sgt. USAF in 1979; brother, Leslie Gordon; parents, Tracy Allen and Ruby Doris Mobley Gordon. Survivors are her son, Wayne (Robin) Little, of North Coventry, Pennsylvania; daughters, Kelsey and Erin; sisters, Grace Gibson of Charlotte, N.C., Patsy Barrett of Jesup, Ga., Dale Tankersley of Brunswick, Ga., and Peggy Cosenza of Ludowici, Ga.; brother, Gaylon Gordon of Dacula, Ga.; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, July 24, 2015 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Rev. Stanley Todd officiating. Interment will be in the Jones Creek Memorial Gardens.
