Jacqueline "Jackie" Spivey McNeely, 79, of Jesup, Georgia and Bluffton, South Carolina died Sunday, November 29, 2015 after an extended illness. The Wrightsville, Georgia native and former resident of Jesup, Georgia and Decatur, Alabama had lived in Bluffton, South Carolina the past 11 years and was a homemaker who enjoyed music and being with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, John Paul McNeely, Jr.; parents, Walter and Kate Haywood Spivey; 6 siblings.
Survivors are her daughters, Darlene McNeely of Hilton Head, South Carolina and Paula (Mike) Hughes of Bluffton, South Carolina; granddaughter, Kelli Key Byrd of Nashville, Tennessee; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Byrd of Colton, California and Gabriel Byrd of Nashville, Tennesee; brother, Truett (Janet) Spivey of Centerville, Georgia; numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Jesup City Cemetery with Rev. Ray Tharpe officiating.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home.
