Jesup, Ga.

Delores Tyre Dale, 79, of Jesup, died Tuesday, April 4, 2017, after an extended illness. The Wayne County native and former resident of Miami, Florida was a 1956 Graduate of Jesup High School and lived in Wayne County most of her adult life. She was a former member of the Red Hat Society and a 32-year retired Bell South Telephone Operator who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was the widow of James Dale and predeceased by her parents, Luther and Donahue Cameron Tyre; brothers, Reid Tyre, Hugh Tyre, and Allison Tyre.

Survivors are her son, Jimmy(Tara) Dale of Clyde, North Carolina; sister, Sandra Browning of Port Orange, Florida; brother, Bruce Tyre of Dothan, Alabama; grandchildren, Aubry and Aralynn Dale of Clyde, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Thomas Waters officiating. Interment will be in Odum City Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Merle Tyre, Richard Veldhuizen, Wade Browning, Danny Harris, Dan "Ziggy" Cameron, Jr., and Bull Cameron.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 prior to service at the funeral home.
