Jesup, Ga.

Frankie Harris Sessoms Eason, 77 of Jesup died Thursday, September 14, 2017 in Wayne Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.  The Wayne County native was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a retired manager of Dollar General and Super 10 Stores of Jesup.  She enjoyed reading and working in her yard with flowers.  She was predeceased by her husband, John Henry Eason; parents, Bennie and Jessie Harris; a sister, Linda Dixon.

Survivors are two daughters, Darlene (Carl) Crews of Appomattox, Va. and DeeAnn(Brennon) Morris of Odum; 3 grandchildren, Brenn Morris, Jonathon Morris and Kristen Morris;  3 great grandchildren, Bronx Morris, Slade Morris and Maverick Knight; two sisters, Sandra (Richard) Veldhuzin, Gayle (Jim) Franklin, both of Jesup; a brother, Danny(Donna) Harris of Jesup; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Vann Dempsey officiating.  Interment will be in the Jesup City Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be her family.

Visitation will be 1 to 2 P.M. prior to services at the church.
