Jesup, Ga.

Martha Williams Padgett, 77 of Jesup died Saturday, January 13, 2018 at her residence.  The Baxley native had lived in Wayne County the past 40 years and was a former CNA for many nursing homes. She loved to fish and shop the yard sales.  She was predeceased by her companion, Louis Merritt; parents, Jack and Inez Williams; two brothers, Earl and Ed Williams; two granddaughters, Latisha and Donna Anderson; a great granddaughter, Victoria Anderson.

Survivors are two daughters, Patsy Martinez, Ann (Ricky) Mobley, both of Jesup; two sons, David Blanton and Johnny Blanton, both of Jesup; 14 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Catherine Murray of Auburndale, Fla., Betty Jean Gleckler of Jesup, Jackie(Gene) Burden of Surrency, Linda Higgins of Baxley; 3 brothers, Smitty (Judy) Williams, Robert(Patsy) Williams, both of Surrency, Quitman(Pam) Williams of Baxley; a special aunt, Molly Williams of Surrency; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Rev. Wayne Flowers officiating.  Interment will be in the Surrency City Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Chad Mobley, Ryan Blanton, Luis Perez, Jamie Williams, Jerry Williams, Tommy Lee Anderson, Chucky Pruitt, and Christopher Pruitt.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
