Jim Stossmeister, 76 of Jesup died Sunday, January 28, 2018 at his residence.  The Pennsylvania resident had lived in Wayne County the past 25 years and was  a retired truck driver. Jim was also a U.S. Air Force Veteran and enjoyed fishing and tinkering with all kinds of mechanics.  He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Martha Stossmeister; brother, Bob Stossmeister.

Survivors are 6 daughters, Jamie Stossmeister, Robin Stossmeister, Kristie Stossmeister, Brittany Stossmeister, Jennifer (Jeremiah) Horne, Tammie Gallagher; a son, Jim (Marci) Stossmeister; a sister, Carol Rieger; a brother, Donald Stossmeister 12 grandchildren, Bradley Stossmeister Mercedes Stossmeister, Madeline Duncan, Kennedy Horne, Kasey Velez, Riley  Stossmeister, Laney Stoss-Cordeiro, A.J. Graver, Sarah Clark, Mackenzie  Winkelman, Bryce and Justin Henning; 3 great grandchildren, Kaisen, Mylee and Jase; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be 2 P.M. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel,  860 Highway 301 South, Jesup, Ga. 31546 with Rev. Jack Lee officiating along with the American Legion Post 311's presentation of the U.S. Flag.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
