Jesup, Ga.

James Luther Graham, 88 of Jesup died Sunday, February 4, 2018 after an extended illness. The Wayne County native was a member and deacon of Little Creek Baptist Church. He was a retired Rayonier employee and enjoyed fishing, gardening and being with his family.  He was predeceased by his brothers, John, Ed, Gene and Tommy Graham.

Survivors are his wife of 67 years, Betty Bennett Graham of Jesup; two daughters, Ann and Mario Anastasia of Buford, Lynn and Rev. Jack Lee of Jesup; a son, Dr. James Luther Graham, Jr. of Tifton; two sisters, Evon Johnson and Avie Lee Thornton, both of Jesup; 6 grandchildren, Tammy Bellew, Larry Watson, Jr., Jessica Bowen, Danielle Hall, Raina Graham, Deven Graham; 8 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Rev. Jack Lee, Rev. Charles Smith and Rev. Shon Cunningham officiating. Interment will be in the Little Creek Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be his family members. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Harborview Nursing Home.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 P.M. Monday, February 5, 2018 at the funeral home.
