Screven, Ga.

Juanita Deal Howard Mikell, 98 of Screven died Thursday, February 22, 2018 under the care of Heartland Hospice.  The Wayne County native was an active member of Salem Primitive Baptist Church until her move to Mossy Oak Assisted Living in 2005. She retired from the administrative offices of ITT Rayonier in 1984 after 20 years of service.   She was predeceased by her husbands, William M. Howard and Aeolus M. Mikell and several siblings.

Survivors are two daughters, Beth (Danny) Rogers of Waycross, Evelyn M. (Travis) Smith of Donaldsonville; a son, William M. Howard, Jr. of Whitesville, NC; two grandchildren, Holly  (Jonathan) Moore of Meridian, Miss., Lori (Clark) Turner of Columbus; 4 great grandchildren, Katie and Houston Moore, Delaney and Julie Turner.

Graveside funeral services will be 2 P.M. Monday, February 26, 2018 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, 315 Greenwich Rd, Savannah, GA 31404 with Elder Jason Deal officiating.

Visitation will be 10 A.M. Monday, February 26, 2018 at Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to the charity of your choice.
