Zayan Kareem Gibbs, 11 months old, infant son of Chailyn Gibbs and Clarence J. Rankin, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. He was a joy to all his family in his short life. He was predeceased by his brother, Kareem Apollo Gibbs and his great grandfather, Roger McColloch.

In additions to his parents, he is survived by maternal grandparents, Paula (Aaron) Gibbs of Jesup; maternal great grandparents, Jerry and Marcia Aspinwall of Odum, great grandmother, Libby McColloch of Jesup; paternal grandmother, Annie Rankin of Jesup and paternal great grand mother, Tarsha Gibbs of Bronx, New York; an aunt and uncle, Camille and A.J. Gibbs; and several cousins.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 25, 2026 from Sunset Oak Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Justin Click officiating.

Family will receive friends from 9:00-9:45 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2026 from Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home.
