Willie Lamon Barfield, 91, of Folkston, Ga. and former resident of Bainbridge passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. He was a Christian and served 4 years in the Navy with two of those years in the Korean War. Willie was a dairy farmer and enjoyed fishing, gardening and shopping at flea markers with his wife. Margie, his wife, preceded him in death along with his son, Ronnie Barfield and daughter, Theresa Barfield; his parents, Ester and Elvin Barfield; two sisters, Marie and Alice.

Survivors are two sons, Tracey Barfield of Yatesville and Timothy (Sue) Barfield of Folkston; 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a brother, Cecil Barfield.

His celebration of life service will be held at a later date in Rose Lawn Cemetery in Bainbridge, GA.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of the arrangements.
