William Ray Harrell, 65, of Brunswick, Ga., formerly of Jesup, Ga. died Wednesday, April 22, 2026. The Wayne County native was a Baptist and a 50-year retired long haul commercial truck driver. He enjoyed fishing and all of the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Janie Lou Yeomans Harrell.

Survivors are two daughters, Alania (Jeremy) Greene of Brooklet, Ga. and Chelsey (Jason) Shaver of Lexington, Ga.; 4 grandchildren, Max and Maddux Greene, Charlie and Sydney Shaver; step children, Jessica Grantham, Caroline (Scott) Gay, Gerald Grantham, and Dalton Grantham; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Dana H. Bishop of Brunswick and Terri H. (Jim) Buie of Jesup.

Memorial services are being held at a later date.
