Odum, Ga.

Willa Mae Hutcheson Hughes, 78, of Odum died Saturday, August 20, 2016 at her residence after an extended illness. The Reidsville native lived in Wayne County most of her life and was a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church and a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, and spending time with her family. She was the widow of Matthew L. Hughes.

Survivors are her daughter, Christina Kiser of Odum; son and daughter-in-law, Michael (Vera) Kiser of Odum; brothers, Wilburn Hutcheson and Jack Hutcheson of Jesup; sisters, Mary Faye Hutcheson of Odum and JoAnn Hasty of Brunswick; 5 grandchildren, Michael Jr., Matthew, Elizabeth, Nicolaus, and Isaiah; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at Old Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Harris officiating.
