Wayne Brantley, 72, of Hinesville, Ga. and formerly of Jesup died Monday, April 15, 2024.  The Wayne County native was a Baptist and a retired crane operator with Dozier Crane Company.  He loved hunting, woodworking, fishing and metal detecting, especially at the beach. His daughter, Lucinda Renee Brantley preceded him in death along with his brother, Charles Brantley and parents, Dan and Bettye Brantley.

Survivors are his wife of 29 years, Marta Lucia Brantley of Hinesville; two daughters, Danielle Brantley Hudson of Screven and Johana Johnson of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sons, Daniel Vincent Brantley of Jesup and Tommy Stewart of Tennessee; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister, Ann Lawler of Screven and a brother, Perry Brantley of Jesup; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 3 PM Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Rinehart Chapel with Bro. Wayne Flowers officiating. Interment will follow in the Gardi Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Chase, Cody, and Eddie Hudson, Austin Neeley, Matthew Gross and Tommy Stewart.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
