Warnell Brantley, 63, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026 under the care of Hospice of South Georgia.  The Wayne County native was a retired Georgia DOT Asphalt Superintendent.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, running dogs in the fox pen, the rodeo, including playing the role of the "clown", and trips to the river.  Most of all he loved spending time with his family.  His parents, W. A. and Pat Brantley preceded him in death along with his sister, Carol Bozeman and brother, Billy Brantley.

Survivors are his wife of 34 years, Tina Poindexter Brantley of Jesup; 4 sons, Carlos Brantley, Jonathan Brantley, Levi (Darlene) Brantley and Hayden Harvey; several grandchildren; 2 sisters, Patricia Ann Brantley and Grace Drawdy, both of Jesup; 3 brothers, Bob, Larry and Victor Brantley, all of Jesup; several nieces, including Patty Collins and nephews; father-in-law, George "Pop" (Jeanette)Shenk of Jesup.

A celebration of his life will be 2 PM Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Rinehart Chapel with Rev. Gladwin Harper officiating.

The family will receive friends an hour prior to services at the funeral home.
