Wanda K. Sikes, 74, of Bristol, Ga. passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 under the care of Hospice of South Georgia.  The Indiana native had lived in Appling County for the past 35 years and was a member of Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Bristol. Wanda was a retired employee of Walmart and loved to take care of her family by cooking for them.  She also liked to crochet. Her husband, Eddie Elmer Sikes preceded her in death along with a daughter, Paulette Sikes Thompson and two brothers, Ray and Paul McIndoo.

Survivors are two sons, Stacy Ray (Teresa) Sikes of Screven and Mitchell (Becky) Sikes of Powell, Ohio; grandchildren, Scott Sikes, Brittany Dewese, Colton Chrysler, Destiny Chandler and Kyle Gibbs; great grandchildren, Breona and Cayse Dewese, Davin and Dutton Chrysler and Bryett Chandler; two sisters, Linda Mitten and Jacque McIndoo, both of Florida; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11AM Monday, November 18, 2024 at Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Bristol with Pastor David Young officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be family and friends.

Visitation will be an hour prior to services at the church.
