Virginia B. Rentz, 82, of Jesup, GA passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025. The Duval County Florida native had lived in Wayne County for the past 23 years and was a member of Red Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed being a homemaker and pastor's wife. She was known for being loving, caring, and encouraging and a Prayer Warrior. She loved to cook and bake, especially "sour dough" rolls. She was predeceased by her daughter, Julie Agee.

Survivors are her husband of 61 years, Dr. Derrell Rentz, of Jesup; daughters, Sheryl (Dewayne) Herrin of Jesup, Kelley (David) Emig of Rogers, AR and Karen (Kelly) Lewis of Lynchburg, VA; 20 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Red Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Alan Morgan and Missionary Barbara Hill officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her family.

Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, March 21, 2025 at Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home.
