Victor Mullis, 61, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025. The Wayne County native was a Christian and a retired roofer. Music was a special part of his life as he loved to play the harmonica, sing and praise Jesus with his neighbors. He was humorous with his friends, especially finding funny things on Youtube. His talent was shown by making furniture out of many kinds of wood. His father, Theron Mullis preceded him in death along with his dearly loved grandmother, Louise Franklin.
Survivors are his mother, JoAnn Franklin Bennett of Screven; a sister, Teresa (Wayne) Crosby of Screven; 4 half-sisters, Tonya (David) Clark, Wendy (Brad) Jones, Jade Mullis and Summer (Kevin) Dixon; a half-brother, Doug (Belinda) Mullis; several cousins including a very special one, Renee Edmonston; an adopted-in-love brother, Benny (Lisa) Gelinas; several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be 2 PM Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Screven First Baptist Church with Wayne Crosby officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church.
Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
