Vickie Mobley Brantley, 68, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. The Wayne County native had lived in Jesup all of her life and was a member of Cornerstone United Pentecostal Church. Vickie assisted in cooking that famous Sybil’s fried chicken at Sybil’s Family Restaurant. Cooking was her love language but she also loved to dote on her beloved dogs. Fishing and working in her flower garden were favorite pastimes also. Her husband of 21 years, Billy Brantley preceded her in death along with her parents. Delton and Jeanette Mobley and two brothers, Arnold and Kenny Mobley.

Survivors are children, Donny Mobley, Jason and Jennifer Parker; several grandchildren; two brothers including twin brother, Ricky (Ann) Mobley and Ronnie Mobley, both of Jesup; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Rinehart Chapel with Rev. Chad Mobley officiating. Interment will be in Little Creek Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be family and friends. 

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
