Tina Thornton Riendeau, 52, of Screven, Ga. joined our heavenly Father on Friday, October 7, 2022.  The Pierce County native had lived in Wayne County most of her adult life and was a member of Liberty Lighthouse Baptist Church. Screven Elementary School was fortunate to have this kindhearted and humble servant first in the lunchroom and then as head custodian.  Tina had a heart of gold. She loved to cook and keep her grandchildren. Her father, Jesse James Thornton preceded her in death along with her brother, Craig.

Survivors are her husband, Chris Riendeau of Screven; daughter, Ashlee (Michael) Washburn; sons, Christopher and Dylan (Madison) Riendeau; mother, Diane (Lamar) Roberson; brother, Scottie and Casey Thornton; 5 grandchildren, Mackaylee, Cameron, Hunter, Ivory and Daxton.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday, October 10, 2022 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Rev. Donnie Mullis officiating. Interment will follow in the Riendeau Family Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her family and friends.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
