Thomas Hampton "Hamp" Davis, Jr., 68, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.  The Wayne County native was of the Episcopalian Faith and retired from the Department of Defense at Hunter Army Airfield.  He loved to watch westerns but adored his dogs.  The love of his life for 34 years, Shannon Denmark Davis preceded him in death along with his parents, Tommy and Faye Davis.

Survivors are his two sisters, Donna (Ronnie) Lemmond of Fernandina Beach, Fla. and Jerri (Gary) Samuel of Harriett's Bluff; a brother, Russ Davis of Jesup; several nieces and nephews and other extended family members.

Graveside funeral services were held in Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Stanley Todd officiating.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
