Thera Mae Scott Anderson, 94, of Odum, Ga. passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.  The Wayne County native was a lifelong member of Bethlehem Wesleyan Methodist Church and a homemaker.  Earlier in her life, she worked as a rural U.S. Postal Letter Carrier for many years. She was a beautiful and gracious lady due to the efforts of her belated husband of 75 years, Brantley Anderson. Her son, Robert and grandson, Brant, also preceded her in death.

Survivors are her two daughters and caregivers, Judy (Jerry) Landon and Ginger Smith, both of Jesup; granddaughter, Meliea DeLoach of Jesup; two great grandchildren, Axl and Ace Anderson; several sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be 3 PM Friday, March 24, 2023 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Rev. Calvin Anderson and Pastor Sheldon Rowell officiating. Interment will follow in the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her family.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
