Thelma Mae Todd, 85, of Brunswick, Ga. passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024.  The Lyons native was a former resident of Florida but had lived in Brunswick in her latter years and worked as a shoemaker in Darien.  Thelma loved her church and was a member of Darien Church of God for over 50 years.  Her husband, Alvin Junior Todd preceded her in death along with her two brothers, James and G.W. Carroll.

Survivors are two daughters, Juanita Rolling of Albany and Tammy (Vernon) Leggett of Brunswick; a sister, Shellie Hutchison of Brunswick; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Darien Church of God with Pastor Tommy Whaley officiating. Interment will follow in the Moseley Cemetery in Uvalda at 2 PM Wednesday. Active pallbearers will be her family.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
