Tammy Ann Griffis Spell, 61 of Jesup, Ga. died Thursday, January 30, 2025. The Wayne County native was a member of Unity Church of God and former employee with Wayne County Board of Education. She enjoyed sewing, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is predeceased by her father, Max Griffis.

Survivors are her husband of 22 years, Mark Spell of Jesup; two daughters, Stephanie Lish of Jesup, Tiffany (Sarah) Fanucci-Lish of Augusta; two sons, Josh Sellers of Hortense, Ryan (Mari'e) Lish of Donalsonville; her mother, Barbara Griffis; a sister, Donna (Greg) Mallard; brother, Tim (Heidi) Griffis of Shellman Bluff; stepson, Phillip (Tabitha) Spell of Jesup; several grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 3, 2025 from Unity Church of God with Pastor Calvin Anderson and Rev. George Moxley officiating. Interment will follow in Jesup City Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Kohl Wilder, Cody Adams, Mike Deike, Robbie Griffis, Earl Beaver and Brad Privet. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Davita Dialysis.

Family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to services at the church.
