Sylvia Tyre Harvey, 78, of Odum, Ga. died Tuesday, September 6, 2022. The Wayne County native was a member of Jehovah's Witness of Jesup.  She was a retired Kmart manager and loved to garden in her spare time, maintaining a pristine yard. Her son, Mark Todd preceded her in death along with her parents, Lloyd and Louise Tyre and sister, Verona Lee Cleland.

Survivors are her husband of 46 years, Charles "Mann" Harvey of Odum; daughter, Donna Todd of Jacksonville, Fla.; son, Robbie Todd of Jesup; two brothers, Edwin Tyre and Phillip (Rhonda) Tyre, both of Screven; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; extended family: Leisha (David) Martin, Michael (Terri) Harvey, Randy Harvey and Joey Harvey, their children and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday, September 9, 2022 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Carroll Emerson officiating. Private family burial will follow in the Screven City Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
