Sylas Parker Kirkum, 2 years old, of Screven passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023.  He is the son of James and Samantha Kirkum and loved trucks, balls, and riding with Pawpaw on the golf cart and spending time with Mimi.

Survivors other than his parents are two brothers, David Ponville and Hunter Teppenpaw, both of Screven and a sister, Temperance Kirkum of Michigan; maternal grandfather, Bryon Long of Screven; maternal grandmother, Terri Long of Jesup; paternal grandmother, Corenna Smith of Ohio; aunts, Deanna Long of Atlanta, Erin Long of Valdosta, Breanna Kirkum of Michigan; several other family members.

Graveside funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday, December 7, 2023 in the Screven City Cemetery with Rev. Mark Ledbetter officiating.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
