Susie Brunner Goss, 85, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024, under the care of Suncare Hospice in Guyton Ga. She was a Wayne County native, graduating from Wayne County High School-Class of 1957 and a former member of New Hope Freewill Baptist Church.  Susie made her home in Guyton for the past 40 years and enjoyed puzzles and games.  She was predeceased by her husband, Carroll Goss, her parents, Adgie and Paul Brunner, several sisters and brothers.

She was a proud, loving mother to a daughter Sheri (Joe) Allen of Guyton and a son, Paul (Melaina)Goss of Garrett, South Carolina.  She was Grandma Susie to Kayli (Andrew) Davis, Christian (Billy) Rumptz, Courtney (Adam) Ziegler, Caitlyn (Chris) Colson.  Also, four great grandchildren, Emily Rumptz, Gaige Colson, Reese Davis, and Easton Davis. She is also survived by a brother Edward (Kathy)Brunner of Jacksonville, Florida.  Other family members, Fran Brewer and family of Jesup.  Numerous nieces and nephews also survive

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Feldkamp officiating.   Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be family.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m.  prior to service at the funeral home.
