Shirley Douberly Zeeb, 87, died Friday, June 16, 2023. The Wayne County native was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, freezing and canning vegetables for her family. She enjoyed providing humor for the family get togethers and was a devoted wife and mother.

She was predeceased by her sons, Bobby Martin and Gary Zeeb; parents, Dan and Mina Douberly; sisters, Evelyn Lane, Jewel Lane, and Geneva Hyers; and brothers, Harold and James Douberly.

Survivors are her husband of 60 years, Dean Zeeb; a daughter, Vickie Manske, of West Fargo, ND; 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Ward of Jesup, and Sara Nance of Paduccah, KY; brother, Daniel (Boots) Douberly of Jacksonville, FL and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 19, 2023 at Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Harper officiating. Interment will follow at Screven City Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be family.

Family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to services at the funeral home.
