Shirley Ann Sapp Christian, 78, of Jesup, Ga. died Monday, May 27, 2024. The Wayne County native was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a retired paraprofessional with the Wayne County Board of Education. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her siblings, Glyn Sapp and Mary Lesher.

Survivors are a daughter, Debbie Christian Link of Franklin, TN; a son, David (Shannon) Christian of Folkston, GA; sisters, Linda Carter of Jesup and Barbara Jean (Chewy) Hernandez of El Paso, TX; 9 grandchildren, Noel and Loran Link, Ryan (Heather), Samantha, Nicholas, Allison, Hailee, Meagan and Zane, two great grandchildren, Aiden and Mason, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 31, 2024 from Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Pastor Vann Dempsey officiating. Interment will follow in George Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her family.

Family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to services at the funeral home.
