Sherrie Aspinwall Hamilton, 57, died Tuesday, October 1, 2024 in Ft. Myers, Fla. where she resided.  The Wayne County native and 1985 Wayne County High School Graduate received her RN degree from Brunswick College and was currently working with White Sands Hospital in Ft. Meyers. Sherrie enjoyed the beach, traveling with friends and family and working with her house plants. Her father, Ronald Grady Aspinwall preceded her in death along with her brother, Greg Aspinwall.

Survivors are two daughters, Haley Stevens of Brunswick, Ga. and Alisha (Joseph) Cawley of Guyton, Ga.; mother and step-father, Rosemary and Fletcher Stevenson of Jesup; sister-in-law, Colleen Aspinwall of Parkland, Fla. and her children, Little Greg and Janie; extended family also survive.

Family graveside services were held 2 PM Sunday, October 6, 2024 in Old Bethel Cemetery with Rev. Rebecca Duke-Barton officiating.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
