Sara Elizabeth Kinchen Hires, 68, of Jesup, Ga. died Friday, November 18, 2022 under the care of Altamaha Nursing Home and Hospice of South Georgia.  The Wayne County native was of the Church of God faith and a retired paraprofessional with the Wayne County Board of Education.  Sara loved the beach, horses and spending time with her family. Her husband, George C. Hires and parents, John and Elizabeth Kinchen preceded her in death.

Survivors are her daughter, Denise M. (Brian Stroud) Rollins and son, Harvey, Jr. (Christie) Rollins, both of Jesup; 3 grandchildren, Koal Rollins, Emma Rollins (Pong) Ngiebkratoke and Kameron Blythe; brother, Johnny Kinchen of Pennsylvania.

Graveside funeral services will be 2 PM Monday, November 21, 2022 in Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be the staffs of Altamaha Nursing Home and Hospice of South Georgia.

Visitation will be 12:30 to 1:30 PM Monday at the funeral home.
