Sandra Leonard Crummey, 80, of Jesup, Ga. died Thursday, February 23, 2023. The long- time resident of Jesup, Ga. was a member of Spring Grove Freewill Baptist Church for over 50 years and had worked with several several nursing homes as a CNA, cashier at several convenience stores and was known for crocheting garments for many friends and relatives. She was predeceased by her former husband, Herman Crummey, daughter in law, Angela Crummey, and brother, Richard Leonard Jr.

Survivors are a daughter, Tammy (Vernon) Allen of Jesup; a son, Duncan Crummey of Jesup; sisters Arlene Herndon and Catherine Bennett both of Baxley, Linda Anderson of Jesup; grandchildren, Shelly Herrin, Remi Klaire Crummey, Dylan (G) Allen, Veronica (Cody) Daniels; several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 27, 2023 at Spring Grove Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Kessler and Pastor Tim Brantley officiating. Interment will follow in Crummey Cemetery on highway 169, Jesup, GA. Active pallbearers will be Roy Crummey, Jr., Curtis Crummey, Carl Anderson, Mack Anderson, Kevin Rockfellow and Ricky Manning.

Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 p.m., Sunday, February 26, 2023 from Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel.
