Samuel G. Flores, Jr., 80, of Jesup, Ga. died Wednesday, July 13, 2022.  The New Mexico native had lived in Wayne County the past few years and was a Catholic.  He was a retired U.S. Army Master Sergeant serving in Desert Storm and the Gulf War and held a business administration degree.  His family considered him a "Giant" who held his family together while they all danced through life.

Survivors are his wife, Peggy Holliday Flores of Jesup; 3 daughters, Dianna and Debbie (Lynn) of Albuquerque, NM and Emma of Roswell, NM; a son, Ernest (Rose) Flores of Albuquerque, NM; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; a brother, Danny (Bertha) Reyes of Roswell, NM.

Memorial services will be held by his loving family.
