Jesup, Ga. Sally Sikes Kent, 74, of Jesup, Ga., went home to be with the LORD, Monday, September 22, 2014, at her residence surrounded by her family. The Tattnall County native had lived in Wayne County most of her life and was an active member of Parkway Church of God and the Senior Adult Sunday School Class and Ladies' Ministry. She was a homemaker and enjoyed yard sales, crocheting and helping others. She was predeceased by her husband, Royce Kent and a son, Ricky Royce Kent. Survivors are a daughter & son-in-law, Michelle Kent and Mike McBee; 2 sons & 1 daughter-in-law, Mickey D. Kent and Ronnie V. & Lynne Kent both of Jesup, Ga; a brother & sister-in-law, Donnie & Kathy Sikes of Belle Bluff; sister, Betty & Glenn Stepp of Sterling, Ga; 21 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2 PM on Thursday, September 25, 2014 from Parkway Church of God with Pastor Eugene Evors, Pastor Bill Harper, and Pastor David Hubbs officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Deris Kent, Jarred Kent, Trey Spell, Keith Ivey, Conrad Reinhold, and Andrew Radcliffe. Honorary pallbearers will be Parkway Church of God Senior Adult Sunday School Class Members and Employees of South Georgia Hospice.
