Ruby Teston Johns St. Dennis, 91, of Jesup, Ga. passed away peacefully at her home in the Red Hill Community surrounded by her family. A life-long Wayne County resident, "Miss Ruby" as she was often called had a "larger than life" personality and positively influenced everyone around her.  She enjoyed being the life of the party and the instigator of playful mischief.  Always ready to help those in need, over the years many friends and relatives spent a few days, or a week, or a month, or several months at her home.  Ruby co-founded Jesup Plate Glass in the 1950s and later owned a convenience store on Rayonier Road for over 30 years. Her husbands, Hubert Johns and Robert "Bob" St. Dennis preceded her in death along with her daughter, Cathy Johns Robinson and a granddaughter, Stacy Jones Ledbetter.

Survivors are a son, Dr. Tony (Jill) Johns of Lucinda, Penn.; grandchildren, Tristin (Stacey) Drury and Cobi (Matthew) Daniels, both of Jesup, Benjamin Johns of Lucinda, Penn. and Anna Johns of Jacksonville, Fla.; several other relatives.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Rinehart Chapel with Rev. Wayne Manning, Jr. officiating.  Interment will follow in the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be friends and family.

Visitation will be an hour prior to services at the funeral home.
