Obituary

Ruby Harper Flowers, 77, of Jesup, Ga. died Tuesday, April 19, 2022. The Wayne County native was a member of the Little Creek Baptist Church and was retired from Wayne County Board of Education Jesup Elementary Lunchroom Staff. She enjoyed fishing and cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She was the widow of Norman K. Flowers and is also predeceased by her son, Arthur Sumner.

Survivors are her son; Wesley (Rose) Sumner of Jesup; daughter, Alisha (Scott) Hippert of Indiana; brother, Steve (Ernestine) Harper of Jesup; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren including Kenslee O'Berry; special friend, Bob Tyre of Jesup.

Celebration of Life Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 23, 2022 from Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne "Rooster" Manning, Jr. officiating.  Graveside service and interment will follow in Little Creek Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be family.

Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to services at the funeral Home.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
