Ruby Lee Fletcher Forester, 93, of Jesup, Ga. died Friday, May 17, 2024.  The Norman Park Georgia native had resided in Jesup for many years and was a member of First Baptist Church and the Harmony Sunday School Class.  She was a 25-year retiree with Federal Civil Service at Fort Stewart in Hinesville, Fort Gordon in Augusta, Ga. and the U.S. Army Command in Seoul, South Korea.  She enjoyed reading, gardening, traveling, and family gatherings.  She was the widow of Aubrey Sydney Forester and her former husband was L. T. Barlow, both deceased along with her parents, Henry and Omie Fletcher.

Survivors include two daughters: Rosalind (Bob) Fullerton of Atlanta, GA, Kathy Keith (widow of Kendall) of Jesup, Ga.; grandchildren: Kristi (Aaron) Brewer of Kingsland, Kasey (Krystal) Keith of Jesup, Katie (Mark) Day of Watkinsville and Andrew Fullerton of Evans; 5 great grandchildren: Caroline and Adam Brewer, Knox and Holt Day, Karson Keith, Abigail Fullerton; sister, Betty (Donnie) Howard of Jesup  and many other special family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 3 PM Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Rinehart Chapel with Reverend Brooks Haddock and Dr. Aaron Brewer officiating. A private burial for immediate family will follow in the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 prior to services at the funeral home.
