Jesup, Georgia

Carroll "Ronnell" Roberson, 88, of Jesup, died Wednesday, March 13, 2024. The Wayne Co., GA, native was a 1953 graduate of Jesup High School and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was a retired Machinist Foreman with Georgia Pacific and in his retirement life enjoyed working with heating and air conditioning. He was predeceased by his sisters, Willene Ray and Arlene Poppell.

Survivors are his wife of 67 years, Nell Yeomans Roberson of Jesup, daughter, Rhonda Roberson of Jesup, son, Michael (Kathy) Roberson of Bainbridge, sisters, Peggy Nichols of Atlanta, Oleita (Richard) Crews of Glen St. Mary's, FL, brother, Remer (Marie) Roberson of Jacksonville, FL, grandchildren, Ben, Daniel, Chris, Kellee, and Robert, great-grandchildren, Fynn, Ava, Lillianna, Ellie, and Lilah Rose, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends, Ricky Palmer and Hugo Leggett.

Graveside funeral services will be held 11 AM, Friday, March 15, 2024, at the Old Bethel Cemetery with Rev. Dennie Waters officiating.

Family will receive friends at the cemetery from 10:30 until time for services on Friday.

The Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of the arrangements.
