Ronald Ray Alphin, 86, of Screven, Ga. died May 3, 2022. The North Carolina native had lived in Wayne County the past 23 years and was a 20- year U.S. Army Veteran serving in Vietnam and the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed outdoor activities   including hunting, fishing and growing many good things to eat.

Survivors are several daughters and sons and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial services are being held by the family.
