Roger Dale Johnson, 72, of Brunswick, Ga. died Saturday, July 30, 2022.  The Wayne County native had lived in Glynn County most of his adult life, was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in Vietnam War and a retired commercial truck driver. His parents, Leon and Ruth Scott preceded him in death along with his sister, Connie Bargeron and brothers, R.L. and Mike Little.

Survivors are his wife of 46 years, Peggy Edgy Johnson of Brunswick; daughter, Crystal (Scott) Hambrick of Brunswick; son, Ronnie (Danielle) Johnson of Brunswick; brothers, Randy (Sabrina) Little and Ronnie (Robin) Little, both of Jesup; sister, Gerry Mahardy of Jesup; 3 grandchildren, Emily, Tiffany and Brayden Johnson; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Pine Haven Baptist Church, 176 Old Cate Road, Brunswick, GA 31525 with Pastor Keith Powell officiating. Interment will follow in the Chapel Park Cemetery with military honors. Active pallbearers will be his family.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
