Robert Lee Pridgen, 57, of Screven, Ga. passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026. The Florida native had lived in Wayne County the past 35 years and was known for his talents in making cabinets, especially cabinet doors. Catching fish was a favorite hobby and he treasured the times with his family.

Survivors are his mother, Claudia Norris; father, Billy Pridgen; a sister, Christine Pridgen; brother, Randy (Dawn) Pridgen, all of Screven; several nieces, nephews and cousins and his pet companion, “Milo”.

A celebration of his life will be 3 PM Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at Rinehart Chapel with Rev. Benji McReady officiating. Interment will follow in the Screven City Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Mike, Mackie and Kevin McReady, Tony Roberson, Vincente and Kacey Morales.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
