Robert Collier, 56, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. The Glynn County native had lived in Wayne County most of his life and was a member of Jesup First United Methodist Church. The master chef had worked with Stonewood Bar and Grill in Tampa, Sea Island Cloister, Pine Forest Country Club and Damon's Famous Fingers and Wings. Robert enjoyed fishing, golfing and woodworking. Music was very important to him beginning with middle school band and then continuing as a talented member of the church handbell choir. Robert's Uncle Barry Collier preceded him in death along with his Aunt Marie Collier.

Survivors are his two daughters, Maggie Collier of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Edith Collier of Tampa, Fla.; his parents, Stanley and Sherry Collier of Jesup; two sisters, Jennifer (David) Popkin and Allison (Owen) Carter, both of Jesup; a brother, Roger (Stacey) Collier of Statesboro; numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be 3 PM Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Jesup First United Methodist Church with Pastor Rebecca Duke-Barton, Rev. Justin Ellis and Melvin Lane officiating.

The family will receive friends an hour prior to services at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jesup First United Methodist Church, 205 E. Cherry Street, Jesup, GA 31546.
