Richard Tatum, 90, of Jesup Ga. died Monday, October 16, 2023. The Tattnall County native had lived in Wayne County for many years and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was owner and operator of Tatum Auto Parts and Supplies and Wrecker Service of Savannah. He enjoyed fishing, boating and tinkering. He was predeceased by his son, Richard Michael Tatum.

Survivors are his wife of 47 years, Carolyn Blankenship Tatum; a daughter, Marsha (Michael) Rogers of Fairhope, Alabama; step-son, John (Colleen) Eddy; 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild; several nieces, cousins, and nephews including Terry Durrence.

Services will be 11 AM Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Drury and Tim Woodward officiating.  Interment will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be family and friends.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
