Richard “Berry” Tillman, 58, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on Friday, September 4, 2026. The Wayne County native was a member of Little Creek Baptist Church and was employed with Ross Systems and Controls of Savannah. His leisure time was spent in the Cherokee Mountains visiting his parents, golfing, watching the Georgia Bulldogs and target shooting with his family. His niece, Shelby Tillman preceded him in death.

Survivors are his parents, Jimmy and Charlotte Bennett Tillman of Jesup; brother, Jay (Kay) Tillman of Rincon and sister, Jennifer (Chris) Hinely of Guyton; 6 nieces and nephews, Justin, Aurie, Chandler, Ian, Rylee and Victoria; two great nieces and a great nephew; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be 3 PM Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at Rinehart Chapel with Rev. Shon Cunningham and Pastor Terry Miles officiating. Interment will follow in the Little Creek Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be his family.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
